Please think carefully, not just chose on your favurite ship, think on ships strong and weak points and wether or not we'll be able to sell the set up. It'd be nice to start production soon. So could we finalise the set up's when we have a result from this poll please? I don't think we'll be able to use T2 equipment. I'm not sure. as we plan on making everything ourselves for max profit.

Ok well, in my opinion a bit stupid to make a double post. But in my opinion the 'Merlin' would be a good choice. Its very well balanced in all areas and has a nice capacitor.

I always pick a kessie over a merlin.
It packs a harder punch and is d**n faster and better looking.
The only down side to maximise the best from it you need really good skills.

Just something i want to bring to everyone's attention. From a miners point of view, i believe the kestrel might be the easiest to construct. I took a look at what minerals are needed for its construction and noticed that you need 'Trit / Iso / Mex / Nocx and Zydrine, minerals we have easy acces too.
The merlin however requires two additional minerals, namely Pyerite and the hard to come by, Megacyte. The ammount of Megacyte isn't huge, i admitt, and a large quantity might be bought to cover for the first couple of weeks / months.
But i think it would be more profitable if we actually had a system close by where we could do one corp mining op every month specifically for the Megacyte.
If you want, i could start scouting the surrounding systems for an asteroid belt(s) which has/have either Arkonor, Spodumain or Bistot.
Sorry if this post doesn't fit in this thread, but i didn't think i should make a new thread specifically to address this issue.
Cheers
Axel

Before I start I have a confession,
My Name is Mojo and I hate Frigs.
That being said, I too prefer Kessies to Merlins. Although a Merlin is stronger it doesn't have the punch that the Kessie does.
